Washing:

  Gentle Cycle: Select a gentle cycle to reduce stress on the fabric.
  
• Turn Inside Out: To maintain color and avoid wear on the surface, turn the garment inside out before washing.
  
• Use Mild Detergent: Opt for a mild detergent, as harsh chemicals can damage cotton fibers.

Drying:

• Tumble Dry Low or Hang Dry: Low heat is best if using a dryer, but for best results, hang drying will reduce shrinkage and help the garment keep its shape.
  
• Remove Promptly: To prevent wrinkles, remove from the dryer as soon as it’s dry. For hang drying, reshape while damp.

Ironing:

• Medium Heat Ironing: If ironing is needed, set the iron to a medium setting, and iron while the garment is still slightly damp for a smoother finish.
  
• Use a Pressing Cloth: For printed or decorated areas, place a cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect designs.

Avoid:

• Bleach: Avoid bleach unless the item is pure white.
  
• Dry Cleaning: Standard cotton fabrics generally don’t require dry cleaning; machine wash or hand wash is ideal.
