The Future Of Inland Grove

The Future Of Inland Grove

Building a Brand with a Purpose

Being a one-man show building a brand while also balancing a full-time job, being a husband, and a father, I find it challenging to maintain perfect equilibrium. Sometimes things fall through the cracks as I build Inland Grove. With that said, one area I've neglected is discussing the brand's future and its ultimate goals. To get there, I need to outline our direction for the next few years.

Following the Map

At the outset, I created a mood board to guide Inland Grove's direction. After all, what good is a map if you don't follow it? My first release, the Green Golf Glove, aligned with the mood board. However, subsequent releases deviated from that initial vision, although the products themselves were great.

Sharing the Vision

I'm excited to share the mood board and Inland Grove's future direction with you all. The mood boards are attached to this post. Feel free to send any questions or feedback to James@inlandgrovegolf.com; I'm always open to hearing from you.

Building the Team

I recently hired a fashion design intern, Sydney, who's been instrumental in executing the mood board. She'll be independently designing some women's pieces in the near future.

The Patagonia/Kith of Golf

Our vision is to become the Patagonia/Kith of golf. Like those brands, I want Inland Grove to give back to the world in a significant way. I believe in partnering with foundations and charities that I align with, and I'm currently finalizing those partnerships. I'll announce them soon, but ultimately, I'm looking to collaborate with companies that:

  • Help preserve wildlife in America, specifically focusing on bears and hunting regulations.
  • Support youth sports foundations, with the goal of making golf accessible to all children at a young age.

Building the Brand Together

I'm currently interviewing applicants for the Social Media Manager/Marketing position at Inland Grove. This role is crucial for elevating brand awareness and executing our social media strategy. One thing I've learned this past year is that I can't build this alone, so I'm bringing in some help.

Imperfect But Moving Forward

This isn't the most polished blog post, I understand. Writing isn't my forte, but I wanted to take a stab at it. I'm working on communicating more effectively, and I truly appreciate all the support Inland Grove has received since launching in April.
